We recently ran out of our eco-friendly, store bought shower cleaner. I wasn't able to run to the store to buy more and noticed that the soap scum built up in a matter of a couple of days. I remembered that shower cleaner can be made at home with one part water and one part vinegar. It is so easy and non-toxic, even a ten year old can create this all-purpose solution. Tennessee kindly offered to demmonstrate the process in three easy steps.
Step 1:
Pour 1 part vinegar into a spray bottle with a funnel.
Step 2:
Fill the spray bottle with 1 part water.
Step 3 (not shown): Shake bottle to mix.
We are very excited to use our "product" on the shower and are in the process of making more homemade cleaners for our cleaning needs. They are the greenest of all the cleaners that a person can buy and are frugal during difficult economic times. Stay tuned for before and after pictures of our shower!
